My Story

In December 2025, we lost our beloved dog Tobi after a brave fight with lymphoma.

Tobi was not just a dog—he was our family, our “fur son.” He had a heart of gold and loved everyone he met, both people and other dogs. He lived an active, joyful life, hiking Munros and exploring the outdoors with us - Anna and Robert. Those adventures meant everything to him, and to us.

Even during his illness, Tobi showed incredible courage. He didn’t win his fight with lymphoma, but he was so brave until the very end.

We truly believe that if he were still here, he would be walking the West Highland Way by my side. Instead, I will carry him with me in my heart every step of the journey.

This challenge is for Tobi.

Through this walk, I want to help other dogs who are unwell and need care, just like Tobi did. That’s why I’m raising money for the Scottish SPCA, to support the amazing work they do helping animals in need.

Tobi loved others so much - I know he would want to keep helping, even now.
